In this unit I learned about phonetics and pronunciation. Reading phonetics is quite uncommon but it can be useful for the students that want to learn english because it is another tool that can help with the pronunciation of words when they are having trouble with the pronouncing the alphabetical spelling of the word. I also learned the mouth structure and the different parts in the mouth that are used in the english language. Mouth positioning is important in learning english. Most students' native language will have different mouth positioning so when they learn english there will be mouth positions that they are not used but are integral to learning english.
