Unit 13 has been about teaching pronunciation. It covered a lot of what the sounds of speech are really made of, how we emphasize meaning and the actual anatomy of how our mouths form these words. Also introduced to me, through unit 13, was the phonetic alphabet. a series of characters that are used to more closely identify the actual sounds of speech, rather than how they are truly spelled, as english is not a phonetic language.
