In this unit I learned how important the teachers role in the classroom is. It is very important for the teacher to have a positive engaging attitude in the lesson and in the students. A teacher should build rapport with students by using their names to engage them and well as be able to allow the students to feel comfortable to make mistakes. When doing activities it helps the student to understand the activity more if the teacher elicits a correct answer from the students first before the activity begins.
