Unit 12: Teaching Productive Skills covered the basics of teaching speaking and writing skills. It was helpful in that it gave example ESA lessons for both a creative writing and speaking lesson. I enjoyed that it covered some aspects of games and how they can be utilized for cultivating interest in English for the students. I thought learning the difference between controlled, guided and creative communication activities was very helpful and it helped me to better decide what I should use depending on the level of the class.
