In this unit we focused on Conditionals and reported speech. There are 5 main conditionals in the English Language, which are Zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. Conditional Clauses or If Clauses. They are used to express that the action in the main clause (without if) can only take place if a certain condition (in the clause with if) is fulfilled. First Conditional refers to possible and also very likely that the condition will be fulfilled. Second Conditional refers to possible but very unlikely, that the condition will be fulfilled. Third Conditional refers to impossible that the condition will be fulfilled because it refers to the past.
