Watching a class demonstration was very helpful, as all of my studies were put into action. I learned a lot from the first video, which showed me that some simple mistakes can make a class ineffective. It is important to learn everyone's name, and prompt all students to participate throughout the entire class. In the first lesson, the teacher was having a hard time getting the students to answer and I think a big part of that was that he wasn't including everyone in the lesson, he was just asking for volunteers. It can be intimidating for students to volunteer an answer if they don't know if it is the correct one. It would be better if each student was participating, and giving it a shot. The second video was a much more inclusive, welcoming place for students to practice something they were not familiar with.
