I have learned that English grammar can be very complicated for my students to learn and I will need to supply many examples for them to understand it. I learned the difference between adjectives and adverbs, one for describing nouns and the other for describing actions, so many verbs have unique past tense forms such as 'fight' - 'fought' and 'see' - 'saw'. Sentences will typically follow the formay of subject-verb-object and even adjectives are listed in the specific order size-age-color-material. With my students I intend to utilize games to help with their grammar, such as placing word cards in the correct order to create a sentence.
