Unit eighteen focuses on the modals, phrasal verbs and the passive voice. Modal verbs, uses, examples and present/ past forms have been explained in the first part of the unit followed by the teaching ideas. The passive voice, differences with the active, how to form it, usage, typical errors/mistakes and teaching ideas have also been widely analysed. Lastly there is an explanation of the relative clauses, differences and examples between defining and non-defining, the phrasal verbs ad the three types of it.
