What I've mainly learned from this unit are new Engage activities and that mistakes and errors are not the same. I also found that I regularly used the Present, Practice, Produce method and not much else. I will try to incorporate the others to see how well they work with my students. The ESA method and what should be happening within the Study and Activate phase was confusing. The focus of both seems to overlap and I find it hard to tell the difference. The Engage phase was widely expounded on so I have a clear idea of what should happen there. The Activate phase leaves a lot unsaid. The patchwork and boomerang ESA layout was also difficult to differentiate.
