This unit's primary purpose was to outline the 4 types of past tense verbs. These include the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past continuous perfect. This unit highlighted the purpose of these four types of the past tense, as well as usage and settings in which all are appropriate. it was helpful to break down the different types of past tense verbs explicitly and to think about where errors might arise fo rnon English speakers.
