This lesson gives a detailed description of the 4 different types of present tenses. The four are: Present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. It also shows common errors that might be made by ESL students and activities that you might engage in to use the content in class.
I personally really liked the exercise where cause and effect was used with the present perfect continuous where you can write a past action with a present result and have students produce these. I would like to use this in a lesson.
