Firstly I am a native English speaker and growing up in Canada, I’ve never been taught grammar to this extent. Gerund; -ing form of a verb used as a noun, ex. Playing, smoking. This is new information to me. Moreover, I love the detail and explanation of each part, very descriptive and educational. I will definitely use this unit when I am teaching, thus making note of this unit is very important. I previously taught in China for 2 years and grammar is a main focus in private schools, so I will be needing this information.
