The different types of future tense forms and the distinctions between the 7 different types and their uses were discussed in this chapter. Interestingly, two of the forms of the future tense included two forms of the present tense. These two forms, while not having as many as the future tense forms, hold important roles in the English language. It never really occurred to me that the present tense could be used to imply a future tense. Also, the confusions that may occur between forms seem to be important points to focus on while teaching this aspect of English.
