This first unit acts well as a baseline informative unit due to the tips and attributes it entails. The information that is given is both encouraging and motivating. For anyone that is unsure of whether they will make a successful teacher or not, this will act as sort of heading or checklist. When stepping into a classroom for the first time or conducting the first lesson remembering this information will allow a person to execute the experience and tailor the subject for the students. After, a few times of self-assessment and reading the class a person will be able to grasp or hope to embody these positive attributes of what makes an efficient teacher. As the teacher, we must seek out and understand it is our responsibility to ensure the success of the students. The students do not fail the teacher, the teacher fails the students. If the outcome is less than what the teacher would hope for then a step back and self-assessment needs to happen for them to evaluate what a better course of actions would be. Once recognizing an issue try finding a better way to resolve it and incorporate another method. Students will not learn the exact same way, so this falls on the teacher to conduct the class with a variety of methods to gather involvement.
