In this section, I got an introduction to grammar—particularly the parts of speech. However, I think that it would be better if this unit was broken up a little more as there is a lot of information to take in. In this unit, we went over: nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, and prepositions/conjunctions. This unit was particularly challenging for me. As a native English speaker, grammar was not something I ever learned this in depth. It is really interesting to see how each word fits into a sentence and how each word is being used. This will definitely be a challenge to teach. Hopefully there will be more in depth units to come!
