Again, I find learning the particularities of English grammar to be quite difficult—even as a native speaker. There are many many irregular verbs conjugations for students to learn, especially within the past simple format and I can now better understand the challenge that many students may face. It was a little difficult for me to differentiate between all of the usages such as if the usage is to show an action that happened in the past and continues through the present or an action in progress. This has taught me that grammar will have to be something that I spend a lot of time on with my students as well as get better acquainted with myself.
