In this Unit, I learned a lot about Grammar Conditionals. There are five main conditionals. They are:Zero Conditional, First Conditional, Second Conditional, Third Conditional and Mixed Conditional. Students need to know the different forms and the differences between them.
Compared with the other four Conditionals, the Second Conditional is a little bit difficult. Because it refers to the unreal condition. For example, " If I were you, I would stop drinking." The unreal part is that I am not you, I can not be you.
As for the Third Conditional, we always use it to express our regrets or feeling of guilty. For example," If I had played the guitar, I would have been better." The fact is that I can not play the guitar better, and I am guilty.
Except for these Conditionals, I also learned something about the direct speech, indrect speech and how to exchange between them. Teachers should pay attention to teach the change and difference between these two forms, like Verb Tenses, Pronouns and so on.
