This unit looked at pronunciation and phonology looking at how words are pronounced and how to teach pronunciation to English learners. Using tools such as the international phonetic alphabet, hand gestures, arrows on a board, sound differentiation practice of the various sounds in words or sentences. Also that certain sentences when expressed a certain way can mean many different things according to how you stress certAin words in the sentence. This unit is quite complex and requires a lot of time going over it to fully understand and grasp the concepts.
