The conditionals are one of the most difficult topics when I started to learn English. Beside three basic conditioning sentences, there are Zero conditionals and mixed one. Learners rarely use mixed conditionals in real life, cause they tend to keep themselves from making grammatical mistakes. Moreover, reported speech may cause confuse for students from China, Japan, or Vietnam, because they do not really concern about the change of tense when they report a speech. In reported speech, there are several changes in not only verb tense, but also pronoun and time expressions. This should be a point that I will concentrate carefully in future lesson plans.
