Studying this unit has made me start to analyse all my years of being a student and remembering how all my teachers would teach English haha!
I never realised that there were so many different techniques to teach a language!.
Personally I prefer a class that has more practical activities more than theoretical as it engages the students for a longer period of time & it makes the class fun & entertaining.
When it comes to correcting errors, I think its very important to have a gentle, positive approach as we do not want to discourage the student or knock his/her confidence in the language.
