Teaching a variety of students can lead to many unique situations that will force the teacher to adapt to a changing classroom. Each student will be at a different level and have different motivation. This makes teaching a large class difficult so it's important to have many tools ready. You should use a variety of different materials for teach class. Begin the class softly with a variety of 'warmer activities' such as 'Hangman' or 'Pictionary'. When you have younger students whose attention may wander, or different levels of students, you can introduce new games or activities often. Weaker students may begin to feel overwhelmed and higher level students may get bored if the lesson is too general and boring. Pair work can help when there are different levels in the same class. Stronger students can help weaker ones in pair work. Similar materials may have different levels of tasks to fit both weak and strong students.
It's very important to create a fun, and engaging atmosphere that includes students of all levels. Provide multiple tasks that fit each student and engage them with ever changing activities. This will include all levels and focus their attention.
