Very encouraging and well explained unit .
From a psychological point of view , all the technics and other methods listed above are as practical as they can be . For the teachers who just started their career , this lesson represents all the smart ways of braking the ice in a teacher - student relationship . At the moment , I do feel a bit more alert than I was before just by familiarizing with some of difficulties that might occur along the way . Meeting new students or working with big groups can often provoc anxiety as both learnes so for teachers . That's why I liked the exemple about warming up the students to motivate them especially in a rainy and foggy day .
From my personal experience , when I was a student , those warming and engaging activities were pretty much ignored . By the end of the lesson the students would fill-up on negative rather then positive vibes sent by their teacher . By nature I'm known as a positive and creative person , that never brings the outside life into the classroom . And For that , I am confident enough to be saying that my students will be very lucky to have me as their tutor and I'll be lucky to have them as my learners . They will never leave my class with nothing gained first .
I would like to bring my gratitude to all teachers and professionals who put a lot of thought into this course by simplifying the entier material , working with every single detail that could possibly appear in the future of a teacher .
