We have also learned how the board should be used, keeping it easy to read and orginized, using different colors, sectioning it and writing only the essential information. And, in my case, I've learned of the existence of interactive whiteboards.
Other resources include the use of visual aids, like real objects or drawings or photographs, which are very handy to attract student´s attention and to illustrate meaning more quicky. Cassettes and videocassetes are not so frequently used now since cd's or dvd's have often replaced them, the same as smartphones turned to be very useful to make videos and are easier to use that video cameras. All of thes tools are really good to work with authentic materials and are more interesting and moivating for students.
Other important materials frequently used in a classroom are the dictionaries, coursebookss, resource books, worksheets, work cards. Photocopiers are often needed to be able to copy materials outside the coursebookss.
Finally, computers are also an essential tool, since we can use the word processor to create the lesson plans or use cd´s, dictonaries, encyclopaedias, videos or audiocasts contained in them and all the online resources to which we can access through them when having and internet connection.
