In the unit I learned that there are three times in the English language (past, present, and future) and each of these have four different aspects to them (simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous) bringing the grand total to twelve overall tenses. The unit covered the forms, such as positive and negative, along with the usages. The most helpful part of the unit was seeing common student errors and teaching ideas that can help me encourage the students to actually use the tenses in communication during class activities.
