This unit broke down the parts of speech that make sentences. It helped associate how to formulate sentences and recognize how the different parts of speech relate to one another. The unit also demonstrated that placement of parts of speech is important. For example, "playing" is usually taken as the verb. The unit provides the example "Playing tennis is fun", where in this case "playing" is the gerund.
