The general idea of the ESA structure was very helpful to me. I had only had a vague idea of the need to get students interested in a topic before talking about it and the ESA structure formalized the need to do this. The refresher on grammar was also extremely helpful. I feel much more confident about explaining problems students have with their grammar and showing them solutions. I will use the ESA structure as a guide on how to plan classes from now on and work on making all phases equally strong. I will also use the grammar lessons as a reference. They have truly raised my confidence about teaching.
