P. S. - Japan said:
I have learned a lot in this course. Even if I’m already teaching here in
japan, I felt that I’m not yet that confident to teach
japanese students. When I enrolled in this course, it boosts my morale and basically I had learned a lot of methodologies and techniques in teaching most especially the ESA style (straight arrow pattern and boomerang pattern). I tried to implement the ESA style (straight arrow pattern and boomerang pattern) and actually it works. The lesson plan that I drafted is very organized. Another thing is I learned the different stages of learners (beginner, intermediate, pre-intermediate, elementary etc) and how to deal with them. This course had been a refresher course for me because to be honest I forgot some rules in terms of grammar, kinds of tenses, phonics, intonation etc. And by refreshing me I can share the knowledge that I had gained to my
japanese students. As I have included in this essay earlier, the things that I had learned here will be shared by me to my students and most especially for my lesson planning as well.
