I’ve always struggle with understanding the specific terminology of the english grammar. This course has taught me proper terminology, as well as given me a better understand of how to teach english properly to my students. I have also been given an enormous amount of resources to be able to plan lessons. I will be using this training in the recent future, so this course has given me more confidence in being able to go overseas and help an existing TEFL group. I have been able to understand, think through and prepare lesson plans for classes, preparing me for when that will be my job.
I plan to use the things I’ve learned to assist the existing teachers in Bosnia-Herzegovina next summer. I will be able to help them prepare their lessons and be able to [eventually] teach my own classes at the end of the summer. The existing team will be losing their experienced TEFL teacher for one year, so I’ll be her substitute, so I’ll be implementing the things that I’ve learned through this course.
