This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Engage, Study, Activate is something new that I have not heard of before. This is very important because it keeps the class structured while addressing the fact that students need to be engaged. I plan to modify ESA (example using patchwork for more advanced students) and use it in my lesson planning.
Another important thing that this course taught me is the various tenses. Although I use it in my writing and conversation, I never thought about the implications behind the different tenses. I think that this will be very useful for students of english to learn and fully understand to be able to communicate efficiently. If I get to teach intermediate or advanced students, I will implement some of the things I learn.
