As non native speaker with little teaching experience I would say I have really learned great deal . I have learned how to teach and how to be good teacher , how to make good lessons , how to manage the class, how to motivate students , how to make my lesson interesting , how to engage students , how to activate students, how to help weak students, how to encourage shy students, how to teach receptive and productive skills.
I have refreshed my english grammar , I have learned about phonetics and have also learned how to grade home works, how to asses students and how to make tests and exams. Finally I have learned more about the difference between British and American english since I was exposed to both. I have really learned a lot and more than what I expected from the course because the course has covered almost everything for the teacher.
I am planning to put what I have learned into action when I return to Libya so I can gain some teaching experience with monolingual class.
