This course has made me think about how I use language. Also as a music teacher thinking how teaching language and music relate, I need to remember to put more practice into my lessons. The course has helped me to think how to help my ESL students in my classroom to make sure they understand me even though I am not the ESL teacher. I have used what I have learned in adapting my lessons. If I get the opportunity to teach a TEFL class at some point I will be able to clearly organize the class as to teach the students effectively my birth language.
