I learned a lot from taking this course. I always had trouble learning new languages because the grammar would trip me up. I wouldn't understand how sentences were constructed in that language because the terms “past continuous,” “participle,” and “gerund” had no meaning for me. This course thoroughly explained all of these concepts to me. I am happy that I finally understand sentence structure and can help spread these concepts to others. I learned how to be an effective leader in a classroom and was able to channel the creative part of my brain to piece together lesson plans. I never knew how to write lesson plans before, so learning how to use the ESA format was an invaluable skill that I will bring to my teaching career.
