I have learned another format to write lesson plans and added many activities geared towards specific language aspects to my resource notebook, which can be used in a future classroom. Because of this course, I have refined my grammar knowledge and refreshed the many techniques and methods available to ESL teachers. I had already taken several TEFL university classes, since I have a minor in TEFL, and while there was a lot of review, I still discovered many new ideas and insights from this course. I feel like a better prepared teacher and gained more confidence in my ability to teach english. I plan to use my TEFL knowledge by becoming a teacher in Istanbul, Turkey.
