Ever since I joined this course it has been an enriching and great learning experience. It gave me ample opportunity to explore websites for varied topics which I was unaware of before. Being a teacher and again learning about the attributes of a good teacher and knowing prospective learners of the language has been quite refreshing. english grammar was dealt very well with illustrative examples and effective teaching ideas. I really enjoyed working with these grammar exercises. The ESA (Engage Study Activate) method was helpful to plan lessons that would suit students and facilitate learning in an organized and stress free atmosphere. Teaching ideas for each phase engage, study and activate was very apt. The four skills of language reading, writing, speaking and listening and how to incorporate all into our lessons was quite well explained. I also support the fact that co-operative group work is an effective means of teaching and learning. The video on real classroom lesson was amazing and enjoyable. The questions asked in the worksheets were interesting and challenging, and solving them helped me consolidate my learning. The entire course was very informative, well structured and provided thorough knowledge of teaching skills and techniques, grammar and phonology which is so much necessary in the teaching career.
I can incorporate whatever I have learnt into my present classroom to make learning more effective and enjoyable. In future if I have to relocate I can use the certificate for good job opportunities.
