I have gained the tools I need to go out and teach english to students of any age or background. I am excited to have all of the ideas, lessons, worksheets, activities, etc. in my toolbox of teacher "stuff"! This course has made me aware of the needs of english language learners and the huge role that grammar plays in learning a second language. I am happy to have had a refresher course in the area of grammar myself. I plan to put into action what I have learned by using my ITTT TEFL binder in which I have kept all of the units and worksheets, as well as all of the other resources I acquired during this course, and use it as the framework to my teaching, I will become my ELL manual! I think it will be a great reference tool and will be used often throughout my teaching as a source of ideas.
