This course has helped me to better understand what I will be doing inside the classroom and how to deal with situations that may arise. I learned how to make plans and use the ESA format to maximize student learning. The course was helpful by showing how teaching different age groups (children to adults) can be different and how to adapt to teaching in different situations. The examples of different engage, study, and activate stage activities were also very helpful to get an idea of activities to use when I am teaching in my own classroom. I gained a much more detailed knowledge of the english language that I did not know before and ways to teach them to students. I feel that this course will help me in my future career as a teaching of english as a foreign language.
