I never planed our thought that I would be teaching english. This course has helped me to become better organized by giving me the tools that I will need to become successful in the classroom. The teaching ideas and the theory involved in teaching ESL will be very handy. I think what will be most useful is that I now have the knowledge and skills to prepare a useful lesson plan. I know that during any lesson an issue may arise and I am going to have to adjust gracefully. Always be prepared! I’m honestly not sure how I am going to put all this new knowledge to use because I don’t know anything about who or where I will be teaching. I do know that I will be moving to Brno czech republic, and will hopefully find somewhere to teach there. It could be young learners, intermediates, adult learners, or an english business class. I do know that I will be nervous but this class has prepared me be providing a solid foundation.
