There are a lot of things that I can count which I have personally gained from this course but briefly I would like to mention a few points. First, I think this course helped me to see my weaknesses and strengths. In each unit, I understand which subjects are my favorites and which aren’t. I will focus on my weaknesses by studying some more resources which I have already found. Second, in each unit I learned something new such as a new technique, a new game, different ways to handle discipline problems, the importance of different factors, etc. Third, I am glad that I learned EFL strategies methodically unit by unit. I didn’t have this opportunity before. Fourth, I really learned to make an effective lesson plan. What we really use in our country is completely different so I am so glad that I learned how to teach a subject without getting bored the students. I think this is the most important thing I have learned and I will use it in my lessons. In this sense, I believe it is a great benefit for my career. Via course, I intensified my knowledge of english grammar, phonology as well as the skills and techniques for successful language training. Fifth, I learned many useful
online resources that I can take advantage of. Finally, I believe practice makes perfect so now I will
work voluntarily to help a teacher and observe the lesson in a local school. Then, I will combine what I have learned theoretically via this course with the one I will observe. This combination will enable me a better chance to be a better teacher with better techniques. This is all I aimed before having this course so I need to
apply my knowledge and practice it in order to achieve my goal.
