When I teach, I tried to stay away from grammar. As a native teacher, I felt it would be difficult to teach the students. It is difficult to learn a new language but to learn the language through a native teacher is much more difficult. I found that teaching grammar does not have to be difficult. There are ways to make the lesson interesting and fun and not just worksheets. I would incorporate some of the activities to my grammar lessons. That would make the lesson much more interesting and it would help students easier to understand.
