I am incredibly pleased with what I have gained from this course. I have learned so many fine points about my native language that I would never have been able to explain previously. I see and hear sentences now and am able to identify tenses, parts of speech and how underlying meaning is communicated with ease. Beyond this, I feel prepared to facilitate a fun and engaging english class. I expect to learn a lot in the future about planning and conducting lessons, but I have gained the confidence to get out there and try.
I am hoping to be admitted into a study abroad program next year in japan and volunteer to help teach english during my stay. I am looking to benefit from this experience and use it later. Once I finish my undergraduate degrees, I want to find employment teaching english abroad before or while applying to graduate schools. I look forward to using the skills I have acquired from this course.
